A much loved touring bike ready for another 25 years of riding

Following a mishap resulting in a crushed top tube led this bike to the workshop.

Checking that the new tube will be suitable

Cleaned up and ready for paint. The new tube fits and is stronger than new, the lug tips give the appearance of a traditionally lugged join.

The repair is ready for painting and the customer was over the moon. 30+ more years of riding to come.
